AML/KYC Policy

Purpose
Tarifex.io recognizes the risks associated with the use of digital assets for illegal or unethical purposes and implements a comprehensive AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and KYC (Know Your Customer) framework in accordance with international standards, including FATF, EU AMLD, FinCEN, and other regulatory guidelines.
The purpose of this policy is to ensure that all financial operations conducted on the platform are carried out in a fair, transparent, and lawful manner and to prevent the service from being used for money laundering, terrorist financing, or other illicit financial activities.
Customer Warnings
By using the Tarifex.io platform, each client acknowledges and agrees to comply with this AML/KYC Policy.
Tarifex.io strictly prohibits clients from:
- using the platform for any form of fraud or deceptive practices;
- laundering proceeds of illegal activities;
- purchasing or selling prohibited goods or services;
- providing financial support to banned or terrorist organizations;
- concealing the source or ownership of assets.
Using the platform implies full acceptance of this AML/KYC Policy and an obligation to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.
Clients are fully responsible for all actions performed through their accounts.
Verification Requirements
Tarifex.io reserves the right to:
- request documents confirming a user’s identity and residential address (passport, ID card, driver’s license, utility bill, etc.);
- require completion of the KYC verification process;
- request additional information about the origin of digital assets and evidence of their lawful acquisition;
- analyze transactions and user activity to identify suspicious or unusual behavior;
- prohibit the use of anonymous proxies, VPNs, or other identity-masking tools;
- suspend or block accounts and transactions if illegal activity is detected;
- request additional data or documentation upon regulators’ request;
- refuse withdrawals to third-party accounts;
- freeze assets pending verification or investigation;
- maintain the confidentiality of internal verification methods and risk assessment algorithms;
- suspend or deny services without explanation if a user’s actions violate AML/KYC requirements.
Data Storage:
All personal data is processed and stored in compliance with GDPR and the Tarifex.io Privacy Policy, using modern encryption and security technologies.
AML Verification Timeframes
- Standard AML verification takes 1–7 business days.
- If additional documents or information from partners are required, the review period may be extended.
- The client will be notified of the verification results via the email address provided during registration.
Risk Limitations
The risk level refers to the overall transaction risk assessment based on blockchain analytics, including asset origin, wallet history, counterparty type, and country of origin.
- Cryptocurrencies identified by analytics systems as high-risk may be rejected without the possibility of exchange.
- The acceptable risk threshold for transactions is up to 60%.
- Transactions with a 50–60% risk rating may be subject to additional review or temporary suspension.
- Critical risk categories — Child Exploitation, Dark Market, Dark Service, Enforcement Action, Fraudulent Exchange, Gambling, Illegal Service, Mixer, Ransom, Sanctions, Scam, Stolen Coins, Terrorism Financing — are strictly prohibited (risk tolerance: 0%) and are automatically blocked.
Return of High-Risk Assets:
- Refunds are made only to the original sender’s wallet address.
- Timeframes and procedures are determined by Tarifex.io’s internal regulations and partner exchange policies.
- Refunds may be delayed until all compliance checks are completed.
Documents and KYC Information
The service may request the following information:
- The platform from which the funds were received (provide screenshots and blockchain transaction links).
- The purpose or service for which the funds were obtained.
- The amount, date, and time of the transaction.
- Contact information and communication confirming the transfer.
Required documents:
- A valid identity document (passport, ID card, or driver’s license).
- A selfie holding the document and a handwritten note with the current date and signature.
Additionally:
- Other documents (video selfie, proof of address, etc.) may be requested when necessary.
- All images must be in JPEG or PNG format.
- Tarifex.io reserves the right to re-verify user information at any time.
For bank transfers:
- Card verification and ownership confirmation are mandatory.
- If the cardholder’s details do not match the account information, additional documents may be requested (passport, ID spread, selfie, or video verification).
- Funds are returned only to the original payment source after successful verification.
Providing false or forged documents will result in immediate account suspension and reporting to relevant authorities.
Non-Compliance
If a client fails to provide the requested data or does not respond to support inquiries within 30 days, Tarifex.io reserves the right to:
- suspend all transactions and account activities pending verification;
- withhold assets until proper identification and verification of the funds’ source;
- deny access to services for AML/KYC policy violations.
Frozen funds may be released only after the user successfully completes full verification and provides legitimate proof of asset origin.
Legal Disclaimer and Consent
By using the Tarifex.io platform, the client confirms that they:
- have read and understood this AML/KYC Policy;
- fully agree with its terms and obligations;
- commit to providing accurate information and complying with applicable laws and regulations.
Tarifex.io reserves the right to modify this policy without prior notice.
